I have the 30" Electrolux. They have been distributing in Europe for years. The power is fine and I'm an avid cook. Anecdotally, the first time I used the cooktop, I had set a pot of water to boil on boost and turned my back. It was boiling over in under a minute. Some of the issues with power, at least in my opinion, come down to splitting hairs. I was willing to sacrifice a bit on the power end in order to have hobs that could accommodate my really big saute pans and stock pots which some of the other units mentioned above will not. The largest hob on the Electrolux is 11" and will work with a pot or pan that is another inch larger in diameter. One design factor that may influence decisions is that the Electrolux sits about an inch above the counter rather than being flush with the counter surface. However, you can install a wall oven below the cooktop which was an important factor for me. You need to look carefully at the installation instructions with any of the induction units to make sure it's possible to stack an oven or even a drawer below if this is a space issue for you.

I buy the labels that look like Sharlene's from Paw Paw Everlast Label company in Michigan. The labels are actually zinc, and they last quite well with either a paint marker from an art store or the mechanical pencil marker they sell with the labels. It's kind of like a laundry pencil and it stands up to weather pretty well. I'm too lazy to spend the time making labels for 1000 roses with the label maker, as gorgeous and professional as those labels look. I need something I can whip together quickly when roses arrive. The posts will eventually start to deteriorate a bit after 6-8 years and sometimes they need the writing reinforced, but they recover pretty well from being stepped on a lot (ask me how I know - smile). I usually order 500 labels at a time in the standing kind that Sharlene showed, which is style E (they call these rose style labels - smile). They have a ton of other styles, including hang tags if you prefer those. The price for 100 labels is $43.50, with free shipping. The new rounded corners are nice on the face plates since you're less likely to scratch your leg on them as you're avoiding the rose canes themselves. You put the plates on the stems yourself, but that's an easy task. Cynthia

@just_janni Hopefully my design team can answer that question for me...I'm really not very good with the aesthetic stuff. But maybe it would look OK full height? I know you said it would look ridiculous, and you're probably right. Otherwise, maybe you do a 3' or so tube centered at standard doorknob height? Or even your idea of 6-7' centered at door knob height sounds like it would look OK, too. I will need to look for pictures. I do think that the hardware will blend in a bit because of the enormous scale of the door. And, if you have the handle be the same color as the frame, it will probably blend in pretty well (I think).
