Motorized Roller Shades Help

Hello Houzz Family,

I hope everyone is safe and healthy. I need to install motorized roller shades in my kitchen. They need to be streamlined; I'd like them to blend in as much as possible. Likely no valance and the probably a reverse roll, though I am not certain because Ineed 3-4 separately controlled panels. Are there any suggestions for reputable companies that are reasonably priced? There are just so many companies and most have horrible reviews. I do not need a lot of fabric samples as I am going with black and these shades will only be used to block the blinding sun about two hours a day. I've included two pics below.

IMO get soalr shades in black you at least still keep the view I use Steves blinds often thay have good service , decent pricing and and for us we need to see your issues with a picture.

I think the casing your referring to is the top rail. It's usally made of aluim. and is color coordinated with the shade material. I've seen plenty of cellular shades in windows with stained trim and they look beautiful. I think it has more to do with the color you choose to go with your trim.

I would think you would want something as neutral as possible. I just finished a remodel and much of my furniture is shades of teal blue - my floors are light oak. Walls are painted a neutral light cream (DE Milk Moustache). My shades are a light cream - I look at samples and the fabric I selected seemed to be the most neutral - not too light/white and not too dark. They were installed last week and I'm happy with them - they are the kind that has a certain amount of transparency as well. FWIW, I wasn't looking for my shades to make any kind of statement. Most of the time I won't have them down as I don't need them for privacy. I only use them in the morning to block the glare of the sun and minimize damage from the direct rays of the sun.

This is probably not the right place for this you are much better off posting this on a site that has reviews of these blinds and not the makers site. If you paid with a credit card you might be able to get your money back. If you read the reviews on BBB site I am wondering why you moved ahead .

We bought a plug in electric solar shade for the outside of our west facing patio door earlier this year from blinds.com and are very happy with it. We haven't had it long enough to have an opinion on it's longevity, but so far it'd been great.

I just installed my remote Roman shades I purchases at blinds.com and I am very pleased. They use rechargeable batteries that you do not need to remove to charge, just plug it in with the cord provided. They last a long time before needing a charge.
