"Curb appeal"? It's very appealing. Can I find the door? No! But it looks like it would be fun to go look for it. :)

Where are you located? How much snow do you get?

Fori There are three "front doors". One on each side of the house, and a sliding one on the wall overlooking the street. I can't tell you how many times we've been sitting in the living room and jump out of our skins because a delivery person is at the wrong door. Directing them to the correct entrance would solve that problem (the left walkway and gate). Most people want to enter on the right side and climb over a stationary baby gate to get to the door visible when coming up the driveway.

We live in South Central PA, zone 7b. Replacing the tree is optional if we can come up with a better garden layout, preferably with evergreen shrubs. Right now, the garden is only 24inches deep, so we would need to expand that depth. If we do replace the tree, we don't want it to grow more than 25/30ft tall and ideally no more than 15ft wide.

It's a bit confusing. The main entrance walk is pinched. The private deck is open and expansive (in spite of the fact of there being a bed in front of it and no walk to it.) Consider reversing the conditions: unpinching the main walk and concealing the private deck. You might also need some modest signage about any paths that are off limits.

Add your barn/garage to your drawing of your property and an "x" beside the doors you do not want your visitors to use to enter.

Add your screened porch to the drawing of the house.

Add an arrow pointing to the door you do want visitors to use.

You have invested a lot in building decks ... add them with a dotted line.

The term "curb" appeal usually refers to the view of the home from the road.

You seem to want to know how to make your actual entrance obvious. If that is your question, the answer is obvious. Remove the boardwalk/sidewalk that leads to the corner between the screened porch and your intended entry door and create a concrete a new sidewalk from your driveway leading only to your front entrance. Outline all the "yard" - except at the path you want visitors to use -- with a low growing plant (such as liriope iof it will grow where yo are) to "block" any other path. Or just put a "use other door" sign with an arrow on your screened porch door. visitors keep trying to use

See the updated image. The proportions are way off. We have 1.25 acres that is narrow and long. The garage is at the bottom of the hill, the house is at the top. I'm trying to come up with a landscape design in the front entrance area that updates it since we have to remove the large tree. Bonus if it herds people to the correct entrance. I'll add updated images of the house when coming up the hill when I get home from work.

Yardvaark I do like your proportions. Random building code question, the deck/walkway to the driveway has a drop of about 12-14 inches where they added that wonky 45-degree railing. I'm guessing we'll need to do something similar even if we straighten the walkway? The yard is not flat.

I think you'd want to have a railing extending along any drop-off, especially near gates or turns. When grade change is less and where walk extends straight, a person falling off is much less likely.

What about fencing the other deck for the dog, so you can open up the one used for an entrance?

BTW, decking that runs below grade usually does not have a long life. When these disintegrate, it would be better to make the at-or-below-grade portion of the walk out of masonry (pavers/brick/concrete) instead of wood ... like a patio.
