Does anybody have have Crema Marfil tile for a backsplash?
Comments (7)bixa i would say its more on the pink side like ovenbirds looks in the photo above. here is another pic where i think the white balance is better since the green on the walls looks right to me. it does not show a whole lot of the tiles, but what you can see is accurate. i'm linking the tile on sonomas website. to me it looks more pink on this site than in person. Here is a link that might be useful: sonoma stone...See MoreDoes anybody have or have seen a mature JM that was 20ft or more tall?
Comments (13)Funny you should ask that. I was just going through my list to determine which of mine to put in the ground. Which would be tall and take horrendous full sun at the same time. My list is Inazuma (already in the southern MD ground, full sun for 6 years) 25-30' A.S. Palmatifolium 25-30' Trompenburg is said to have it 20' but based upon a nursery in my area, they have a 15 year, in the ground, in full sun specimen that is 25' or taller now. My Vitifolium should hit 20-25' Red Emperor the same. These are the ones of mine that I've looked at so far. I'm still researching the area. There are a lot that can be 15-20', but your criteria stated taller. BTW. I look at nurseries in my climate type. I have an unusual microcosm (according the the National Capitol Parks and Planning) that is similar to Atlanta. What good would it do me to look at growth habits in the PNW, right?...See MoreChromebook!
Comments (13)It definitely will not replace my tablets, I love them a lot! But I am certainly enjoying learning the many abilities this chromebook has. Everyone has their own preferences but I have never had a problem with an HP product. I have had multiple computers and other HP devices with great performance. I have also had ACER , ASUS, Lenovo also good products. Many of my elderly friends and neighbors are wanting an alternative to windows this is going to be a good option for them since their needs are very simple tasks. The learning curve is minimal especially for those who were already familiar with Chrome browser and have it sync all their settings and bookmarks etc. I am very pleased with it thus far. I did consider one of the flips that folds over to become a touchscreen tablet or a small laptop/notebook. But for now I wanted the bigger screen size and keyboard. My arthritis in my hands was getting bad from holding my tablet and phone in my hands this gives my hands a break and actually typing gives my fingers exercise they need. The touchpad is surprisingly responsive and I am actually liking it. I do have a usb mouse too for when I need it....See MoreMy Chromebook's sudden demise
Comments (6)I think it's unlikely a problem with the power cord. Many low-end PCs (like Chromebooks) don't have strong or robust batteries and what they have can have a limited life. If it's been consistently used on a disconnected basis and then recharged, it's possible the battery is shot or it could be something else. It could cost you $100 to buy a replacement battery and pay someone to install it. And that may not fix the problem. Or you could buy a new one for $250. I'd buy a replacement....See MoreAnnegriet
