No it’s not a rat tail cactus/Disocactus flagelliformis. You are right rat tail is more round. Rat tail does have ribs, but not as noticeable.

It’s hard to tell what your cactus is because the pics are blurry, but my guess would be dog tail cactus/ Selenicereus testudo.

I think your right i looked up some pictures and it looks something like it do you know if it blossoms? I never heard of dog tail cactus before thanks for the info.
