DH was impressed that I got this shot, because I usually stay a healthy safe 10 or 20 foot back from any railing. This is looking down down down into Yosemite Valley. About 3,200 feet down! that's the parking lot, the tiny white dots are buses! Yikes!

I ended up looking down on a friend I picked up on the way to breakfast on holiday. I in no way encouraged this as you can see...

caflowerluver, did your dog bust through the screen door to get in? My cat did that once when a large dog chased her onto my porch. She came through the screen and shot upstairs to the second floor. At least the dog chasing her stopped before he got to the door.

@nhbaskets, I was a frequent flyer into DC during the 1990's. That was my favorite landing path into Washington National; the sharp turn and steep descent with all the monuments and such just right outside the window. Always chose seating on the left, hoping that would be our approach.
