If you have a third party email unitlty (Thunderbird, etc.), most of these have a "trash box". When you delete an email from either the "In Box" or "Sent Box" it goes to the trash box. To complete a deletion, go to the trash box and delete. Items deleted from the trash box are gone. This is a neat feature. For example, if you deleted a message while reading it in the "In Box" and then later wanted to retrieve it. you can. Merely move to the trash box, select the message and "Move" it to another box.

It’s nice to know that the posts haven’t been deleted - but it is much more difficult. I’ve found it more difficult to find posts about a particular subject than it used to be - not just when looking for something posted by a particular user. Houzz already made it difficult to post/comment if using an iPhone/iPad/MacBook Air awhile ago. It really irritates me to have to put my own apostrophes in + no auto capitalization of a word after a period + no auto period after spacing twice (plus, no autocorrect re: spelling + random insertion of repeated words/etc.) I first thought it was due to an update on my iPad - but then I realized I had no issues when using John Bridge Tile forum (they were helping me with issues re: a bathroom renovation). I also have the same threads suggested over and over under the ”More Discussions” - I don’t know if that’s because less new threads are being posted? It seems like there used to be interesting threads suggested under there - at least, ones that hadn’t already been suggested twenty times! While it made sense to stop suggesting really old threads under the ”More Discussions” because people would make a comment without looking at how old the thread was - it was helpful to see threads that were related to the post I was currently reading when I was doing some research on a particular issue. Okay, I’ll stop whining. . .

using Chatgpt as a therapist and others using chatgpt as a friend to such a degree that they "love" their chatgpt friend I think, prior to judging, we should perhaps be privy to results. Has the therapy provided enough so that the reader has improved and taken steps to conquer the issue? Is the lonely person using chatgpt happier? What were the alternatives? For a person for example who has no family and is in a nursing home, it might not be so easy to form irl friends. What assurance do I have that you guys really exist. Philosophers have for centuries asked that question, not only about Houzz but about the world in general. I could be operating in a vacuum. And we'll tell you what brand of vacuum to buy
