I’m looking for advice on Romabio Limewash paint.
We are entering the exterior remodeling phase after gutting the interior. I would love to find some folks who have used Romabio Limewash paint on exterior brick. When we bought this house I had visions of changing the exterior by first redoing the columns. Not going to happen. I am working on options to at least change the tops. The brick is the oddest color of red. It has to go! Please give me advice on using Romabio Limewash paint. I plan on having a heavier coverage but want some color/aging to come through or this could end up looking like a big blob of white. Photos show were we are after yanking out old landscaping and some other exterior changes.
P.S. Getting new roof and gutters so don’t need to worry about trying to coordinate colors. Thanks!

3 years agoHi Patricia, took me awhile but here are some of my before and after photos. I took out a room above my entryway, removed door jams and walls to open up my kitchen and living room. I created a conversation area which is located to the right of my foyer and my dining room is on the left. From the dining room I created a wide hall that can be used to reach the butler pantry and then into my kitchen. I removed walls and door jams to open up the kitchen and living room and also our casual eating area that leads out to our deck and patio. I also created an entryway hall from the foyer to the kitchen by pushing back a kitchen wall three feet and opening up the space under the stairs. We stairs and fire place are not finished in these photos. Fireplace will have the same quartzite that’s in my kitchen running from floor to ceiling. Stairs are being stained similar to my kitchen cabinets just a little darker and more variations in color. Below are some before photos. Posting the after posts next.

3 years agoHere are some after photos. Hopefully, they answer your question with regards to my style. Originally, I asked for help choosing the right Romabio Limewash paint. Since the last post, I’ve chosen to go with Romabio’s biodumus masonry paint in a custom color that’s somewhere between off white an cream. Not yellow, not stark white. I’m trying to decide what to do with the exterior. Take the columns and monster awning off or replace the columns with smaller updated columns and create a porch across the first and second floor. The top of the awning is getting redone/updated if I keep it and the columns. I’d love your opinion. Here are the after photos of the kitchen and how it now opens up to the living room. The family room and kitchen pub table room are not shown. Thank you!

3 years agoHere are a few of the foyer although it’s still being finished. Lots of decorating yet to be done. Haven’t figured out what I want and need to get the exterior done before winter.
