Lilly Mae, my faithful garden lady growing flowers. My mother always said Lily Mae had more outfits than she had. Always change her outfits . Hope these show well, didn’t have on my phone . 6 years agoGinger with very sweet fragrance - this is my favorite ginger flower. The purple waterlily in the lower left also has a strong fragrance, which is sort of spicy and not really my favorite.

My mother never wore perfume, but she did use Jergen's Lotion daily. Since Covid started, I hold a dollop of this lotion to my nose each morning to inhale the cherry-almond scent and rejoice my sense of smell is intact. Then I smooth it on my skin and remember my Mom.
