I fixed my Ryobi CS30 problem. I cleaned the air filter, and the spark arrestor, and the muffler. I oiled the throttle cable and I still could not get this thing to run correctly. I began to remove the carburetor and noticed that the whole cylinder casing seemed loose. It was very loose (about 1/16" air gap). It is amazing that I could get this thing to run at all. I tightened the three bolts at the bottom of the cylinder casing, (you have to remove the rear black plastic cover) and now it runs like new.

The magneto does NOT get power. When it is grounded, spark is killed. It works just like one on a walk behind mower. No battery required.

I have read most of these post...yet I still do not seem to see an answer for me...I have lemons, maybe a handful that have been growing for almost 10 months! and still are green as grass....Are they ripe? Can I eat them? Or do I need to just say "Hey, it will take a year and a half to get a yellow lemon?"..it is for sure a meyer lemon plant..*sigh* Oh I live in mid to north Georgia..Highs are low 90's and cools are 68ish..

Hi Joff: This has nothing to do with basil! I am a Canadian, recently transplanted in Guanacaste. Can you recommend any gardening books that would assist me in planning a garden and selecting plants? Most tropical gardening books assume that there is shade and lots of water. Not so in Guanacaste, as you know. I'm starting from scratch, including having to ammend the soil. And, need help and advice.
