Comments (4)Thanks for your response, Mongo. I found out that we can also use Tec so I think I'll go with the Dove Gray. While I have your attention, do you have any suggestions (if you know Tec better) for a grout color for Brazilian Black slate tile? Comments (6)It was suggested to me that white grout tends to look like a school project, I don't know if thats true but after hearing it I ran away fast from white. I used a Mosaic that is kinda close to yours, blacks, Gray's, clear, stainless, Gray marble, it's loaded with different little 3/4" tiles, anyway I picked a grayish, 1 year later and it looks the same. Comments (7)Hi, we just went through this ordeal for my son's bathroom covered with white subway tiles. After sifting through many pictures, my heart was set on Mapei's Frost - even though my contractor insisted on white. Unfortunately, Frost was not readily available since it's considered a special order color at Lowes and HD. My contractor suggested Warm Gray and mocked up a couple of tiles. For me, it was way too dark. Luckily, we called around a found a store 20 miles away that had 2 bags left. (Floor & Decor). We went with Frost and it looks gorgeous...even my contractor had to agree. Comments (8)Had that issue with old, past expiration date, grout. You want to check the dates on the bag. Retailers who don’t sell a lot of it sometimes don’t have the freshest materials. The hardener worked. Just had to give it time to cure. Any crew that damages the waterproofing removing grout isn’t skilled enough to have done it correctly the first time, so that’s a complete do over....See MoreRelated Professionals

We are doing a more narrow subway tile in white, laying it in herringbone.
