There are so many ramblers that I would like to try---I wanted Blushing Lucy but it was sold out as was Chevy Chase. Now I wish I could move my Ghislane de Felgonde out into this area but so far she seems pretty happy back in "Elba" which is rather shady. I could take cuttings from some of my favorite ramblers but at 78 years I can't waste any time---LOL---no time for the "creep--sleep and leap" idea---LOL the spot is ready and waiting---I'm so excited --I didn't think I would be getting any new roses this year. Peter: It is a whole other world taking pics like that during the day. My friend is trying to figure that out although he gets some great cloud formations before and after the storms. Nice work. I hope to see more pics by you. Jojo: I have heard the monsoons can be quite dramatic! I have even seen the storm drains dug all around the outskirts of peoples home but never saw them fill up. I can only imagine that. I have seen lightning from a distance and been very frustrated chasing them because the roads there a long and straight with no way to turn down another for miles to catch up to it..lol Been there done that. Have you ever seen lightning drop from the clouds over the prairies or horizon? It must be majestic! It is nice to meet Peter. It is always nice to see new faces. I would never come there without visiting some very nice people here if the offer is there. Going there to see people I know would be so nice. We would have to visit the Indian Reservations though, Saguaro Cactus Preserve, and look for turquoise jewelry..lol I have danced with the Navaho tribes once before! I hope many others come here with nice pictures. I would of loved to have sene the hail storm ones that some here have experienced! Mike

The amount of grout you needs depends on your tile size and the GROUT SPACING you plan to use. No one can estimate how much you will need without this information. This is the grout you're asking about used in a 1/2" x 2" glass tile mosaic application with significant tile spacing (i.e. uses a lot of grout). With this type of application you might cover 20 sf with a 9 lb bucket with no waste. Keep in mind that A. most MOP mosaic tile has very little if any grout space, so you won't notice the grout, diamonds or not, and B. this grout was engineered for glass and metal tile not MOP, so you have to make sure the aggregate they use won't scratch the tile. If you can afford to use it and it will work with your tile, it looks fine to me. The best feature of the product is that it is self sealing so it'll save you a lot of effort down the road. Let us know how it works out for you.

Try starting with a clean slate. Your son is at an age of self accountability and should make decissions based on right or wrong, not on what his parents want. Of course parents want thier children to make the right decisions, so please don't take that the wrong way. My suggestion is you sit him down and tell him all the good things you have told us about him, let him know what a bright individual you think he is and that you know he wants to be trusted. Tell him right now he has lost some or all of you and your husbands trust due to his recent action. Tell him you want to give him the opportunity to earn that trust back and you are wiping the slat clean and starting fresh to give him the opportunity to earn your trust back. Explain that he has chores because he is part of your family and in every family every one has to take part in chores so it is not left to just mom and dad to work and do all of the house work. Besides next year he will be 18 years old and can get a place of his own, then he will have to do ALL the housework with no one to split the duties with. Tell him you are giving him an opportunity to regain your trust by allowing him to start fresh. Lay down your rules again, but this time in writing and have him sign the agreement stating he understands your rules and is willing to abide by them as long as he lives in your household. In return he will experience more freedom by regaining your trust through making good decisions for himself. Put the ball in his field. He is after all 17, one more year and he can live on his own, he needs to be treated more like an adult then a juvenile. Concequences for adult decisions can be far more drastic then what you can hand out. Once he lives on his own, he will make the decisions for his own household and his outlook will be different. For him to only now, at 17, to be acting out, he has done better then most teens who have acted out at a much earlier age. Much credit to you both as parents. He may be struggling between teenage and adult years in his own mind. It's just a suggestion, toss it if you don't agree.
