You have an interesting house. Some time ago another person posted their mansard roof house. They ended up painting the second floor windows that same color as the roof. It made a big difference. I think you should paint the windows are dark gray. Paint the area around the first floor windows the same color as the garage. Paint the front door an interesting color. Prune or remove the bushes hiding the windows on the right.

I would paint the brick white & kick up the landscaping to make the total home more formal and French.

If in the budget, I would remove the brick arches which veer away from the French influence and steer toward Spanish. Replace them with square columns or with arches that replicate the roof and facade window shapes. The roof windows are usually a feature of true French homes with the mansard roof. I would not paint them away, but perhaps soften them with a different shade.

The tree off of the right house corner seems like it could be worked with. But the others, and the shrubs, seem like a collection of disarray. I would reevaluate the front island, too, as there seem to be some out-of-proportion plants.

Remove the arches.

Yes, I agree about the arches. They have a huge impact on the overall look of your beautiful home. I would remove them.

The bright white of the garage draws eyes there. I think it would be better with a stained/ darker garage that blends in more. The Mediterranean arches seem like they don’t go with the French Mansard roof. Can you remove them?
