Milgard sliding doors vs La Cantina Multi Slide or Other suggestions

We have a new opening of 18 feet in our remodel which opens up the kitchen/den to the backyard. Our existing sliding doors opening up from the bedrooms in the back of our one-story home are Milgard Tuscany. I'm not into the white vinyl, but the existing sliders are working well -I love the autolock handle and the screens (bugs! birds!). Do I swap out the three other 6' by 8" sliding doors and make the back of my house fancy and nice to match the Modern Farmhouse I'm going for (clad french doors in the bedrooms, and La Catina sliding stacking in black.) Or do things efficiently and just stick with the Tuscany sliders in the bedrooms and do double sliders in Tuscany opening up to the backyard. I"m open to any other suggestions. In a dream world, I wanted steel frame doors, but its not that easy in L.A. I keep looking at black-any other material, fiberglass, etc-and at the end of the day, I can't trick anyone into thinking its steel.
