very special cutting

I say very special because it is a piece cut to a cutting with knots and leaves and that shows incipient roots.
I have cut the lower part that has a rootlet at the bottom and a knot at the top.
It only remains to wait what is the end result.
We are already with the heat of summer and the ideal would have been to do it with a cutting with identical characteristics in the spring.
In any case, I am fully confident that it will succeed.

Well good luck w/ them, but again it's not a knot, it's a NODE.

Explain pls why you cut it? So you'd have 2 pieces to root?

First of all, to say that I have answered a google translator form / suggestion to report the incorrect translation of a word in Spanish and that it is translated by hole. As for the photos that I show, I have divided a cut into two halves. One of them the largest and with leaves, I have put in water again. The small piece that has incipient roots, I have put in a jar of yogurt in the hope that a new plant will be born. I have to say that all the cuttings I put down to root, later I give them to friends and acquaintances.

I could have sworn Krimson Queen had white present on the outer edge of the leaf, and that KP had a green outer edge of the leaf, with the variegation on the inner part of the leaf. That is a very long time to root - almost a year. What cultivar is this cutting? What color? Is it wrinkled? Most cuttings do not make it for a year without roots bringing water and nutrients, but perhaps yours is better because you're water rooting it. How long is the cutting? Shorter cuttings, reds and rainbows take longer to root that large cuttings, white and yellows. If you just can't root it, one option is to send it to Luc at Florida Colors. He can graft it for a small charge and you'll have a plant with a vigorous root system with your cutting grafted onto it. Good luck with this cutting. I know how difficult it can be to have cuttings that just don't root.

It is a cut of hoya carnosa.

I don't have good luck with just a branch w/o leaf. I always tried to at least have one leaf on the stem. good luck to you.
