Comments (11)I agree with floral_uk; it does look like loosestrife. here in Oregon is is a noxious weed that carries disease. Without being able to see it up close, it's tough to be sure. It is a possibility that it might be Epilobium (fire weed), but the shape of the inflorescence leads me to believe it's Lythrum salicaria....See MorePlant identification needed - please see photo
Comments (9)Thank you Kristin for your advise. I plant only non-invasive species in my garden so I am going to plant the new butterfly Molly (dwarf the non-invasive one) instead - it has similar look and flowers and it is the most compact out of all the butterfly bushes and supposedly non-invasive. Happy gardening season!. :-) Eva...See Moreplant identification need
Comments (3)Context would help with id, but the gray foliaged plant looks like stock (Matthiola incana). I recognize the other one also, but cannot seem to pull the name out of the brain at the moment....See MorePlant identification needed
Comments (5)gardengal48 ........Whether it’s the Houzz app or working in a browser, there is very little here that works properly (although it’s certainly easy to make a purchase...surprise, surprise). This is by far the most frustrating app and website I’ve ever dealt with. And contacting support is completely fruitless. They don’t even respond anymore. So sad because they have a great opportunity for a fantastic site and app but no one seems to know what they’re doing and every change and update just brings new problems on top of the old. Can you hear my frustration :) I tried the Gardenweb link and it still did not work....See Morecarolb_w_fl_coastal_9b
