We have a decent sized backyard that backs up to a hillside and trees. We have a railroad wood style retaining wall which is fine. The backyard lacks sun (and we live in the wet PNW) so the grass is terrible...mossy, doesn’t grow well, is patchy and honestly, we just want it gone. We have grass in the front yard for our dog. Our vision consists of getting rid of the shed and laying a concrete patio all in the back. I’ve even thrown out of the idea of a low deck. This summer, we might replace the existing deck seen in the photos with Trex type material. But we’d love some ideas on what the experts would do with this space! Long term, we’d like to upgrade our electrical and get a hot tub for the back as well. I’m attaching pics. Thanks for your help!
