The attention-getter glass doors instantly become the dominant feature of the house. Is that what you want? If you just want more light in the garage, add more fixtures to the interior lighting and paint the garage interior bright white. Put in a garage door with a row of windows up top. Add a new garage door opener with two light bulbs, too. I suggest you get the landscape pruning crew in to do the major cleanup, then take more photos instead of using google streetview. Painters prefer to have a whole foot of space between the plants and walls. The two story bougainvillea can be tied back while they paint. Sage green walls with white windows would look good. Uugh @Virgil Carter Fine Art! Truly my struggle. The home was designed more then 8 years ago, and since then, many of my design ideas have changed. Yes, an architect designed the house. They were terrific and worked with both my husband and I, we obviously have differing focuses. the house calls for exterior shingles, but no color is specified, No exact front door model, garage doors, etc. And even if those things had been selected 8 years ago, I am certain I would have changed my mind anyway. lol a blessing and a curse.... I suppose I can go back to the architect for guidance, for every single choice. And it seems that must be where I am headed... Thanks. and Happy New Year!

I would place them as close to each other as possible. I would do only one stick of trim between the windows, so it's 4" and not 8" of trim (4" trim on one window + 4" trim on other window). If that makes sense? So, give the illusion they are mulled. Then 4" trim around the entire unit of windows.

Cheryl, I think the word that you were looking for is canted. Angled would also be understood too. I'm generally in favor of having garage doors match the color of the house, unless they are on their own elevation and can be treated as a focal point of that facade. Where they are visible along with the front door they should not be focus pulling, especially when they are much larger than the front door. For the same reason I would typically discourage white garage doors. They tend to be just as focus pulling and distracting. But in the case where your siding color appears to be very light, you may be able to get away with it.
