Craftsman Garage Opener Clicks only and LED blinking 5 times
Comments (77)An update on my comment from yesterday. It's not whether the door is going up or down that locks the remote out; rather it is time. The remote is locked out from activating the opener for 4.5 minutes after its last activation (up or down) -- exactly the duration of illumination of the lamp. So it appears that the controller is going into the mode where it locks out remotes after every activation, even though I do not have the multifunction door control panel. Comments (2)Thanks for the quick response, Don. I was handed remote number 53753 at Sears. I will return them and get a couple of the numbers you suggest. Yes, the door works great with using the wall unit. Just a pain having to walk all the way through the front door just to come back out the garage. The Chamberlain one was installed with the door in the up position. It tried going down, but only made it an inch. After reading a couple of your old posts from 2005, I saw something about it needing to be in the down position. I tried that and the door went all the way up, but would do the inch thing while trying to go back down. I'll post an update after I try one of the two numbers you gave. Thanks again!...See Morehelp with paint colors - 1904 Victorian
Comments (8)I know this doesn't help much but I am currently working on my masters and for our group project we are surveying interior paint consumers on their opinions on a new product idea! Our new product idea is an app that aids customers in picking the perfect paint colors through communication with an expert, upload photos of the desired room and current home theme, see current trends, DIY videos, and more... We would love it if you took our survey! https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/5RDYSTW...See MoreHelp with Craftsman Bungalow—-dark wood
Comments (27)Thank you so much Lizbeth-Gardener! Removing the film on the windows was the very first thing we did after we closed on the house. That really helped open the room up to the outdoors. I love seeing all the greenery, and you can appreciate the old wavy glass so much better with the film gone. The lighting has been a challenge and a real work in progress. We put in four floor lamps; one in each corner of the room, as well as a couple counter lamps on the built ins in the dining area (glass mission/craftsman style). Now that we’ve done all the work on the ceiling and pulled down the bad facade that was on the main ceiling beam (hiding wiring) and exposed back to the the original beam we are finally able to better replace the lights there, as well as the ones mounted on either side of the fireplace. All are ordered and we’re waiting. I’ll post pictures once we finally have them and get them installed....See MoreKarrin Taylor
