Here's a quickie idea. I think you could really save some money and not even use a rod, or at least just a cheapie. If you hang your curtains so they cover the rod (put drapery pins lower in the pleats) you could just use a drape on each side (probably would have to be about a double width of fabric to pull back. Also, by hanging off rings, your panels will get even lower, and it would be good to have them as high as possible inside that bay. I personally love bay windows but like them more open, not closed off. I did a situation with chairs/table to show what I mean. I had a lamp on the table first, which I liked and I think looks nice from outside. Then I saw the flowers and traded them out, just for another idea. Don't know your colors or style, so I chose something I already had uploaded.

Your issue is that you have no break in the glass so all your blinds will have gaps in them because of the angles. Drapes will probably your best "close all gaps" but still be able to open up the entire area. If you used shutters, you wouldn't get to open it all up and I assume you do. What you can do is get a good curtain rod (not something out of Walmart) and have it bent to angle of the window. We had to do something similar on a commercial job. Measure the width of th window along the flat edges. then add enough to house your curtains on the side. Add an inch the lenght for each angle (if you have 2 angles, add 2") to accomodate most lost in the bends. Use a curtain braket on the two ends and then 1 in the middle. Then your can use rings to close the curtains to the middle and cover the entire window. You are more than welcome to contact me if you need to.

I wouldn't cover the window, too much to appreciate outside. I feel the sea glass backsplash tile won't do the kitchen justice. I'd go with a more simple tone glass if it is glass that you prefer. What is the name of your counters. Having a hard time seeing the colors it them. Typically, I'd select the lightest color from them and use that as a guide for a backsplash color.
