You may have an unrealistic budget. To buy furniture that will last 10 or 15 years you are going to need pretty good quality. A good leather sectional alone is going to eat up over half of your $10,000 budget unless you are willing to settle for something off Craig's List. Hancock and Moore is great furniture, but a Hancock and Moore leather sectional could use up your entire budget all by itself. Furnitureland South is a huge retailer. They have so many customers that if even a small percentage have problems and write negative reviews it will seem like quite a lot. My personal opinion is that while they are not the best discount retailer for prices or the best discount retailer for service, they do a pretty good job overall and they do have a huge selection of furniture to choose from.

I found this thread because I just got off the phone with my wife who informed me that replacement slings for our set of six Telescope chairs will be $780.00! That is a very tough pill to swallow, and like many here we weighed this heavily against just getting a cheaper set from HD, Costco, or any number of stores. Our set is about 10 years old to date (purchased summer of 2010) and the aluminum frames, table, and umbrella have held up extremely well (we do store them inside for winter though). Ultimately, I decided to stick with these and pay the exorbitant price for a few reasons: - The rest of the set is extremely high quality. I feel good each year when I pull it out of storage - heavy duty powder coated aluminum construction that has lasted well and still looks 9/10 after a spring wipe-down. - It does bother me how much importation has changed - pushing us toward a throw-away-away-and-buy-another culture. I do feel like we enjoy additional quality on these American made items (not always the case). - Less and less stuff is American made any more. As an engineer and a maker, I miss the days when we made most of the best stuff here. This set still exemplifies that quality. It's a little thing, but something I rarely get to enjoy these days. - After 10 years, with very little degradation (other than the fabric slings), I know what to expect from this set, and feel confident that they will last another 10 years easily with new fabric. The convenience of going 10-12 years between having to think about this, or take a gamble on something potentially less durable is worth something to me. Surely, I'll be feeling the sting of this bill in about a month (so good thing I'm writing this now!), but I thought I'd share what tipped us to reinvesting in this very expensive set. We purchased a set about 15 years ago. It has never needed painting and the cushions are still in great shape! I dont know the style of mine but on their website, it looks mostly like Avalon. Ours has been exposed to weather all 15 years we've had it. The only thing I've had to replace are the plastic discs that go under the chair and table legs. This furniture is spectacular. 3 years ago, we built a cabana and outdoor kitchen/fireplace, pool etc. I bought a VERY expensive set of Summer Classics cast iron furniture and the salt water from the pool splashing up on this set has caused some of the outer coat to peel, but not on the OW Lee. Buy it! It's worth the investment, I promise.

Wow, that looks like some major Flintstones barbecue action. Yum. The scale and color of the chimney seem really off to me with the style and colors of your house. So it is hard for me to envision what could pull those two looks together. When you say cover do you mean sun cover? And what kind of furniture do you want out here? Dining set? Sofa and lounge set? What will the finished patio floor look like? Are you adding any plantings? Give us just a bit more info and I'm sure something great will come together.
