Wet bar - what appliances do you have?
Comments (5)We have a (smaller, older) wet bar near to the kitchen and I'll be honest, we almost never use the bar sink. We do have an Scotsman automatic icemaker there that is used all the time. Apparently we love ice! We have a separate wine cellar, so we are only storing hard alcohol in the bar, but I do wish we had a small fridge to chill bottled water and mixers (soda, tonic, etc). They are just stored on shelves now, along with all the glassware. We keep our blender in the bar which is really handy (margaritas- that's usally when the sink is used). I've thought about moving our Keuring to the bar from the kitchen counter, but along with the k-cup carsouel it would take up too much of my limited counter space. Comments (1)I am in the middle of my own kitchen renovation and faced the same questions. I decided to go with the refrigerator with ice/water in the door as my daughter's only request in our whole renovation was to have one with crushed ice. In the hutch, I plan to put refrigerator drawers for the kids to get their own non-water drinks and cups down low so they can get one and go the fridge for ice/water. We will have our hot water at the sink-...See MoreWhat do you do with your wet towels?
Comments (17)We don't reuse towels. I found this great floor hanger in Home Goods. Its cute, bright blue, stands on the floor and holds 6 towels. When we come out of the shower the towel gets hung there to dry. I have two hooks next to the shower door which holds two clean towels. I never take the towels on the floor hanger until they are dry. Which is about once a week.! We live in Florida. If I ever put wet towels in the laundry room and let them sit, they'd be mildewed in one day. Never, never. Always hang to dry!
