what to pair with leather sofa

I currently have two brown leather sofas and I'm getting rid of the bigger of the two (in front of the window). I need to keep the other one (my husband loves it) but what should I replace the bigger one with? This is our TV room so we need comfort. I like leather as it stands up our kids and dogs and eating in front of the TV (so no white linen). White walls, we have a new light carpet and we are installing new light-coloured LVP floors. I don't like sectionals so looking for another sofa or maybe two big chairs? thoughts?

I would do 2 chairs and you could , if you wanted to add a bit of color , go with the indoor sunbrella fabric. It stands up well and lets you choose a pattern maybe . I happen to love all leather for seating so maybe just 2 really comfy leather chairs but in an actual color like maybe a pale teal or cream anything but brown or black. Iam not a fan of mismatched sofas in a space.

thanks for the comment. I like the idea of two big comfy leather chairs as well. We never seat three on a 3-seater sofa and I never lie down on "my" sofa so chairs could work. We are hard on our furniture so need something that will stand up.

Hi! Occasional lurker here, finally registered because I actually had something useful (hopefully) to say. You might want to check out Bradington-Young style 4114. There was a special they were running on it for a while in 3 colors: red, brown, and blue. I think it might still be going on. I ordered it from Duane at The Keeping Room, and everyone who's ever sat in it has threatened to take it home with them! In fact, my mom kind of did...she ended up ordering one for herself. I'm including a link to the relevant thread on Duane's furniture forum with pictures of the chair in all 3 colors. I have been looking at this site for awhile for my living room update etc.. and thanks for all of the help! I recently saw a post where someone talked about the best bargain pair of leather chairs and cannot find it again. Woluld love to know the company name and think it was possibly a co. in Canada? I have dogs and am still researching hardwoods- thanks for the advice and my new room and board sofa should be arriving soon.

Nat I think the chair is out of proportion with the sofa. If you want two leather pieces You would be better off getting a matching Chesterfield chair that is the same color as the sofa and bringing your light gray in with pillows and throws and drapery. That chair will be the eyesore in the room. If you don't need two leather pieces I would do a smaller chair in a nice fabric.

Thanks, everyone, for your suggestions. The photos you sent look great, decoenthusiaste, but a chase won't work for us as well as two sofas when we have guests. We currently have a sectional, which my husband dislikes. I have looked at Cococo, la-la Girl -just not sure I want to wait 6 months, and the shipping to California is quite high. The Wellesley sofa is beautiful, champcamp. Unfortunately, the sofa is too wide for us, and the loveseat too short.

Consider adding 4 swivel chairs and a big coffee table like this. Microseal is a company we saw on another dilemma. They come to your home and do a process on your fabrics that is supposed to be better than Scotchguard. If you find a fabric to love, see if they are in your area.
