I heard back from the tech support people at Houzz. Their advice for the IE browser problem: reset your browser by clearing history and cache then reopening. I will try that and let you know how it works after I manage to grab my computer son and get him to show me how to do that. : ) Thank you, bayarea_girl, for that info about Windows 10. I guess I might as well go ahead and add it to my computer. They keep sending me messages about it, but I've ignored them--out of sheer laziness. Didn't want to be bothered by having to learn how to use it. But it is evidently time. Out of curiosity, I'm trying the Houzz Photo button and see if it works for me. Hey, it works. OK--now I have two new ways to post pics. This is good! Thanks for that help, Sutekesh. (That is a pic of the mini-rose Sweet Diana, for the curious. ) Kate

Link works for me on my desktop. Looks great Pete! Thanks for the photos. I agree, there is something great about watching a tiny tree grow into something substantial. The majority of my plants started as puny mail orders. Only now have I started buying larger size plants and stretching my plant budget.

Nope - your link ”primo post” jumps to ”Page not found” I also had a post that was vaporized when the Houzz maintenance Bill mentions was being done. I’d hit submit & the maintenance message popped up. When I looked for it after Houzz back up - nothing.

Agreed KSWL. They bought what was once a thriving online community. Anyone who remembers Spike knows that there are pros and cons to various kinds of leadership styles. Anyone remember when they bought GW we got all kinds of platitudes about how they loved the GW "community" and they weren't going to change a thing? Little did I know that meant they'd also never update anything, fix anything, test anything, or communicate anything. Now we get to show up every day and just wonder what works/doesn't work - and if it doesn't work, good luck finding anyone who will even acknowledge your outreach. Sad face.
