Black windows and Bronze metal roof?

I'm building a new house with a transitional style and picked black exterior windows (Marvin). The house siding will be close to white (have not picked it yet). Now I am considering the color of metal roof and can't decide between black and bronze. See below (the big sample is the window color, and small ones are roof colors).
We kinda like the dark bronze as it seems less extreme/more subtle, but black would be a closer match. What do people think of this? Also, we are installing solar panels, which I *think* would probably blend in with bronze better than black (since it'd have a lighter color).

Comments (63)We are building a beach home in Florida and have the same exact problem right now. We told the builder that we want a white home with black windows and doors. They said No Problem. We paid a lot of money for the upgrade. Last week we got the rendition of the house and the house is beige with bronze windows. I looked at the contract and sure enough it says upgrade price for bronze windows. I have no idea why they put that in there when our discussion was so different.
