Can anyone recommend a pull down faucet to match these pulls?

Pull Down Faucet Recommendations (w/ Picture)
Comments (1)That faucet's called a high arc. It's an integrated faucet/sprayer. That style is flexible but doesn't pull down significantly (unless there's a new one someone finds I have seen yet). Those are what they are. Pull down faucets normally have the flexible pipe concealed. The sprayer is in the head and the head detaches so the pipe can come out of the housing. There's a counterweight on the line to hold it in place when it goes back up. Many pull downs have both stream and sprayer functionality and can be switched back and forth and locked into one or the other....See MorePull down or pull out faucet?
Comments (9)Sorry, but Suzannes1 is not 100% clear about what the differences are between the pull-out and the pull-down faucets. Much of the difference has to do with the reach and the height of the faucet, not solely the detachment end of it. Anyway, a pull-out reaches farther into the sink (you can get the measurements on any manufacturer's website), and the height is lower than a pull-down. A pull-out's sprayer points down, but at a slightly outward angle. A pull-down has the sprayer pointing straight down, its height is taller than a pull-out, and typically does not have as long a reach as a pull-down. There are pros and cons of both types, and there is no "correct" choice - it depends upon what you like, the aesthetics of your kitchen, and most of all, what feels good in your hand. The very best thing you can do is go to a kitchen/bathroom showroom, and feel them for yourself. Also, if you have cabinets above your sink, check the height; a height constraint may eliminate the pull-downs for you. Some people feel the pull-downs are more ergonomic when using the spray feature cause they point straight down. On the other hand, some have reported that the pull-downs are harder on the back because they are closer to the back of the sink, making your arm have to reach more in order to rinse something under the faucet. Also some people feel that the pull-downs that are close to the back of the sink leave more water puddling behind the sink. Other people like the pull-downs better because they like the aesthetics more. If you opt for a pull-down, make sure you get one with a magnet that will retract the head; otherwise you may get a dangling head that will be annoying. I am going to link an old thread which sums up the pull-out and pull-down faucets quite thoroughly. Here is a link that might be useful: Thread Called Pull-down vs. Pull-out Faucet...See MoreBest pull-down/pull-out faucets?
Comments (12)I just made my choice of faucets. I am going to go with the Grohe pull down for 2 reasons: Pull down vs pull out: since I purchased this house recently, the pull-out faucet has constantly loosened and water has been leaking all over the sink under-cabinet! But as I had planned on doing a complete remodel (watch out cabinets, took me 2 hrs with a good hammer and built-in frustration to gut everything out!) On top of that, the pull-out ball front of the faucet kept hitting my tall pans and frustrating me even more! And forget trying to clean the sink all the way around! So a pull-down was an easy decision (got to be a nice improvement to the old pull-out!) 2. I chose Grohe after reading the hundreds of blogs on this incredible website and because Grohe is a german company who has been making incredibly strong and dependable faucets for so long! Check out their groheamerica website (http://www.groheamerica.com/t/25_4021.html) one of these days, you will be impressed with the number of medals they have won! Now I have to decide which Grohe: Ladylux or Bridgeford. Irawoods.com has them starting at $312 with free shipping and taxes and I know I am going to find it even cheaper on other internet sites....See Morekitchen faucet.....pull down or pull out sprayer?
Comments (19)Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in here---As a plumber, I've noticed that both Moen and Delta are going to the nylon hose. Is it better? They haven't been around long enough to determine that. Only time will tell... The pull out seems to be more popular than the pull down, mainly I think because the pull out faucets are cheaper that the pull down. However, the prices are coming down on the pull downs...Moen just came out with a new model, the Arbor, that is priced comparable to the pull outs. I personally like the looks of the pull downs better.--The Captain...See Moredarbuka
