how many colors should I paint my exterior with?
Comments (3)If the exterior cladding is continuous, stick to one color. If there is a molding or fascia board or string course separating the triangle from the square, then you have the option of painting two colors or even three or four (triangle, square, trim, door) and still looking coherent. Sketch it all out on paper or a computer program, and try filling in different colors till you find what looks welcoming to you. Have fun with it... while still in the draft stage!...See Morepaint colors for exterior shutters and entry door

We are building a barn and are planning to do the exterior Urbane Bronze. I like the notion of wood doors, but we've blown through a lot of our budget for home improvements this year, but I see what you mean about a choppy look. We got the idea of Urbane Bronze while thinking of paint in the back while sitting on our new deck. I still really like the idea there. Considering the front also though, maybe we should contemplate something else....See Morelafleming
