I prefer all painted black, Picture # 4. Makes the entry a nice focal point.

I like picture #2 or 3. It definitely ties in the white in from the rest of the windows, but still brings focus to your entry way. Nice color choice!

Urbane Bronze is a nice color. Our front door and garage door are painted urbane bronze, we also have white windows. But we painted the trim around the doors and windows another color. You have a beautiful hone!

Agree with Houssaon, just enough paint, with a bit of white to tie in with windows

Thanks, Houssaon for your idea. I like your suggestion as the glass in the door is leaded with a design and the transom design aligns with the windows so it does look better white. #4 was my first choice but now I have a new favorite, Houssaon‘s idea!

I vote #3 because the trim is cohesive with the white trim on the windows. Can't go wrong with #3 or #4 in my opinion.

Another vote for Houssaon’s version. When it’s all dark, it relates to the roof, but it doesn’t relate to the windows. Maybe include pic of garage?

Dollars to donuts you can't paint any of the "window" frame that dark. You need to check the warranty for color specifications - usually states no colors with an LRV less than 55.

So, that might help you decide what to do rather quickly.

Same with the door. Going from white to the color you're considering is dramatic. It's usually based on price. Cheaper doors have a smaller range of color options, more expensive usually can be painted a broader light to dark range.

I also think a dark walnut stain to the door might tie in your bay window trim of brown and leave trim white as others suggested.

@appolo1218. Thanks for the feedback. We are hoping to upgrade to a wood, dark walnut stain door and sidelights in the future. For now, we need to work with just re-painting the door for a refresh. The urbane bronze paint gets me a little closer to where we are headed.
