question on using panel ready bosch 800 dishwasher without panel
Comments (6)There are adjustment screws for the door panel located in the front, by the feet (look at the install manual). You can temporarily loosen the tension, and then tighten again when the panel is applied. It should be in your install kit. Otherwise, as Whit461 points out, it will not stay down properly. You can probably just use some colored plastic with velcro strips if the grey color disturbs you, or you can order a stainless panel from Bosch (their web site sells parts and accessories directly)....See MoreQuestion About Bosch Dishwashers with AquaStop - SHX68T55UC
Comments (2)I looked at the installation manual and I did not see anything out of the ordinary for this, only that it has its own supply hose already installed at the washer end. There appears to be nothing different about this hose at the end where it attaches to the water supply, though I would check the threading. Otherwise, you should be able to get a hose that matches the threads of the Bosch hose and your hot water supply from Home Depot or Lowes. The outlet should be the same only that you may need a small piece of pipe and clamps to connect the two (female) ends together. You might have to investigate something automotive or marine....See Morequestion about Bosch dishwasher cycle time
Comments (5)I wanted to post back that the problem is fixed !! It cost $100 service call from our plumber but it was worth it. He used his special de-scaling product and a pump and hooked it up outside to our demand water heater. He said that is was full of scale, had not ever been cleaned in the 8 years we have had it. We knew it wasn't working right as the heating was erratic and would have bursts of very hot water. Anyway it took 2 cycles of running the dishwasher after he cleaned and each cycle got shorter and shorter till it is back in the upper 70 min, area for the cycle which is where it used to be . So we are well pleased. Hope this helps at least some other folks who think their Bosch cycle is too long. c...See MoreDishwasher Question (Bosch, ASKO)
Comments (6)Ferguson also carries Thermador (made by Bosch) and IIRC, the bottom rack of one of their models has a fold down to hold stems. I also saw some models that came with clips you could place where you wanted them. I have a Bosch Benchmarck that I have washed a few stems in the upper rack. For me, it isn't worth the amount of space they take up most of the time. I don't have the accessory stem holder, so I can't help you with that. With the third rack models, there is a balancing of what is possible and what you can really do with a full load of assorted items. If you have tall items below, you can't drop the top rack as far as you might need to for taller stems. If you drop the top rack to its lowest position, you might not be able to load some taller items below. Some models have flatter top/flatware racks and some give more depth for more options with serving and cooking untensils and such. Consider those things too so that you strike the best balance for your needs....See MoreArchitectural Notice
