Chapter 1: A City Gal Attempts Micro Greens

I *blame* Sleevendog. No, not blame..... I actually APPLAUD Sleevendog! I am having a wonderful time growing .... um *attempting* to grow....micro greens!

I tried TL peas, twice. I made stinky-smoosh -- that's the highly technical name for what I got & I'm sure it's b/c I overwatered. From the second batch of stinky-smoosh, I rescued a few peas that looked as if they wanted to live, so I made a very small patch of coir and stuck them onto it.

Wow! I'm on a run here, and inspired to do more--oh and I also planted some China Rose Radish seeds out in the garden, and will do some more radish seeds on coir this week. They are happy little plants!

In the photos, you can see the seeds that wanted to be saved, and you can see Big Boy who really wants to grow big and tall! The ruler may not be placed too accurately, but Big Boy grew from 2 inches to 3 inches in a matter of hours on 5/14/20. Last night, he had a growth spurt, and is up to 6 inches. The other rescued seeds are lagging somewhat behind, but they want to grow, too.

For me, this is a step to success! Just thought I'd share & hope this gives you smiles!
