Help Needed Finding Halogen Replacement Bulb

A twenty year old dining room fixture blew its halogen bulb. Its markings are "150T3.5Q/CL 120V ETG Osram Japan" or possibly "150T3.5O/CL ...". I am having trouble find a replacement bulb. Any help in finding me a source to buy would be appreciated.

Sorry, cannot help, but I had been considering halogen for a new lighting fixture. Everything seems to be going to LED these days. Maybe that's a warning to stay away from halogen for new fixtures if bulbs are that hard to locate.

Your bulb says T3 but it looks more like one of these T4 bulbs:
- Hikari JD7015
- Plusrite 3472
T3 and T4 halogen bulbs (E11 miniature calabra base)

Feit BP35MC/830/LED/HDRP

Also search amazon.com for "E11 bulb" or "E11 LED bulb".

Be sure and check the bulb dimensions before ordering.

Okay...I called one of the suppliers of a MR11 "xenon" bulb and they told me the bulb still acts like a Halogen and that the color temperature will still be bright "white." I'm confused because I thought Xenons were supposed to be basically like incandescent. They referred me to use a brand new bulb that is an "LED MR11 bi-pin" bulb, which is offered in "warm white" color. It is designed to take the place of a halogen lamp, and has a cluster of LEDs in the middle. Of course this is $29per bulb, so I'm not sure what to do, but may order one and see how it works. I don't mind the price if the color temperature looks good, as I know LEDs will last for years without replacement. Any further thoughts?

What part are you pushing, pulling, turning? I'd say the ventilated ring is holding the lens, so removing it is the key. Maybe by turning it about 1/2" CCW or by prying it out, depending on how it's held in there. Some 'gentle strategic tapping' may be needed to convince it to move.

Need help replacing bulb seal on shower door!

I am trying to do the same, now that I have figured out that the little strip is called a bulb seal. :-) Two questions: 1) mine appears to be slightly smaller than the width of the shower door - would that make sense? My shower door is 3/8" and I'm wondering if I should get the 1/4" seal. 2) I've been reading reviews on the adhesive that comes on the back of the strip and they're mostly terrible - is there a better way of adhering it to the edge of the shower door? Thanks in advance for the help - I've never done this before!

That looks to have a standard candelabra base. Go to a lighting store to see what they offer in LED 2700K with that base.

Here is a way for you to help yourself a bit: see if the base fits into your chandelier sockets if so it is and E12 base if not it is an E11 base, these will be available in LED now, so change them all at once if there are multiples. These were a great Halogen bulb for their time.
