It's not possible for me to select the color off the computer. You'll have to test some paint chips next to your stone. Some type of charcoal gray seems to be the direction.

You need to choose a color from the stone so bring home some samples and see what works The ones fron celerygirl on the left yes on the right no. The 2 pics don’t even look like the same stone. I find the arched window and the door all wrong for the house

Will you post the entire house? I bet the door is valuable to you, but I'd instead draw attention to it, in a color that also looks good with white window above it - so not too dark.

Do you have a picture of it in the charcoal color, you thought was too dark? When I look at your house, the taupe doesnt seem to go at all, but, I see a darker gray or charcoal color as looking very nice.

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately, I do not have a pic of the house when it was dark gray in my phone. I like the idea of staining the door a darker color like mahogany. It seems like the majority says go with the gray family. The painter suggested gray also but I think he was thinking more of a lighter gray. I will get some large samples of some suggested colors and put against the stone.

I think grey will work. But try to get a blue undertone. It isn't so dreary.
