Do I plant Apricot Drift roses along cement steps?

Hello, looking for advice on Apricot Drift Roses. I am considering planting 12 Apricot Drift Roses 2 foot spacing along cement steps. I live in zone 6, the site gets sun 11:30 am to approx 7:PM, South to Sun Setting in West. I love the look of drift roses but are concerned do they really perform the WOW factor like the internet pictures? I want the color and constant blooms, pollinators, etc. I don't mind the maintenance if they do really well. I'm really interested in hearing other opinions before planting, due to the work of planting, expense and maintenance. The other choice I was thinking of was round shaped boxwoods, I would really like the bloom of the roses plus I already have 20 boxwoods along sidewalk in front of house. The other side of the sidewalk are Limelight Hydrangea's, heuchera's and coneflowers. The hydrangea's were moved to center of bed. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Any other options are appreciated. Thank you houzzer's.
