Comments (3)I suggest you pinch back all but your leading bud at top of tree to maintain central leader and the dominance of the bud going most straight. You can let the rest of the tree grow for now as long as nothing threatens the dominance of the leader....See MoreWhen will lowes have thier tree's really really low on clearance?
Comments (3)I would call and ask your local store directly. Different places have different schedules especially since planting times vary from state to state. For example, Georgia stores probably won't discount until later in the year because you can continue to plant in Georgia right through November. A store in Ohio would probably discount earlier in the season....See MoreNeed pruning advice for stubborn sweet cherry young tree

Comments (25)As silica said citrus have shallow roots but you DO need to remove that grass from inside the water ring by the citrus, grass is very prolific and can uptake nutrients more quickly than citrus roots can i believe now that you have gotten rid of the rootstock feeder branches that were robbing nutrients if you get rid of the grass that is also robbing the nutrients you will see some great color improvement and rapid growth improvement on that lemon tree. i would get down there and pull the grass out by hand shouldnt take more than a half hour do that and get all that grass out then stay on top of it once a week....See Moreponcirusguy6b452xx
