Granite sealer opinions SenGuard
Comments (0)Anyone have an opinion on SenGuard granite sealer? We have newly installed granite countertops, which have been sealed with a Dupont sealer from HD. But reading about possible issues with Kashmir gold granite, I wonder about putting another sealer on it. It seems sealed, water doesn't appear to absorb, but difficult to say for sure....See MoreUnderside of counter at seam has a break
Comments (0)This is the underside of my newly installed quartz countertops. Is it ok that there is this break that leaves a hole between the cabinets and counter? Also there is a gap between the laminated edge and base cabinet edge. You can’t see any of this while standing, but I notice it. Am I being too picky?...See Morenewly installed quartz countertop has cloudy marks wipe marks
Comments (18)The only solution to remove dull marks is to repolish the entire countertop using professionals who use a diamond grinder. Next time, avoid installing quartz. Regardless of the manufacturer, opt for natural stone like granite or quartzite instead....See MoreCould my newly installed granite countertops be already repaired?
Comments (17)Particulates often pop out during fabrication...nature of the beast. Cutting granite isn't like cutting thru butter. lol The slabs with the mesh backer are typically more prone to this....or that's what I've been told. The mesh is there for a reason. I have a display top in my showroom that shows a RIVER of popped out particulates that was filled. My fabricator said it was excessive and offered to replace it. I wanted my clients to be able to see what can happen with stone so I said we'll keep it. Granite pros, in your opinion, whats the percentage of slabs that have been filled? I'll try to post a pic of our display. It's crazy!...See MoreBecky Ault
