I am remodeling and am going for a modern industrial look. I want clean, crisp modern lines and feel. I am painting my house sherwin williams pure white. I am building my own interior doors as we go along (8' tall). So far, I have completed the pantry mockup (the exposed bolts will be hidden) and am working on same inserts on the first bedroom door (there will be 3). I am adding those 3d texture panels as the inserts of the doors. I am thinking of painting the steel flat black but I am at a loss as to what color to paint the inserts. My first thought was gloss white but now I think it is too much white maybe? So then I thought a gloss black because that would add contrast against the flat black frames and make the inserts pop but I'm not sure if that's a bad decision. There will be a backlit piece of art in the nook above the refrigerators. Ultimately my house colors will all be shades of white, gray and black. Any color advice would be appreciated!
