What can you control?

Here's some things to keep in mind. I'm okay with the social distancing / self isolation. Of course I don't like it, but I try to remember that I have absolutely no control of this crazy situation, that things are going to develop and unfold regardless if I try to control them. It's easier on me to not let myself get worked up over it. We're all in this together. Call someone you haven't talked to in awhile. Text someone to say hi. Send an e-mail. Create a group chat to have a virtual happy hour. Read that book you started but haven't finished. Find e-books on your Kindle, tablet, or laptop. Got Netflix? So many things to choose from. Take a walk around your neighborhood and distance yourself from others. We can't control what is going on, but we can control how we react and respond to it. Choose to let go of your anger or anxiety and find ways to just be with it.

Because what's the alternative? Driving yourself crazy?
