As long as your kitchen gets plenty of light, I would suggest the dark blue (love it in a kitchen)!

Since your cabinets are white, I suggest a white grout as well.

The cabinets are Omega Blair. I think we are going with a light blue/grey wall paint called Solemn Silence by Behr. Any input on that is appreciated as well. I painted poster board with several colors and that seems to looks the best in our kitchen with different lighting during the day.

My vote is for the dark blue tile. On an episode of Christina on the Coast, she did a kitchen with a wall of dark blue tile. It was beautiful.

Don’t pick your paint until you decide on the backsplash. Then take a tile to the paint store to see the paint sample chips next to the tile in a bright setting.

I like the dark blue, as well. Your inspiration picture is nice but that backsplash is not the same color as your lighter blue tile samples.

DH is correct. Go with the darker blue. It's lovely.

Make sure to get a grey grout and not pure white. Are you doing a herringbone installation? Love the darker blue.

Thanks for that discussion link. Very helpful. Love them all. I think we are going to do a white because we like the crispness of it but not a bright white.

Don’t make it too busy or too trendy. Subway tile trend won’t last forever. Keep it warm and inviting.

So the tiling is done and came up just as we'd hoped. It's beautiful! It actually makes my very small kitchen seem more spacious. I didn't expect that. Thanks everyone for your help. Now we just have to pick our paint color. The Solemn Silence seems a little lavender now with the darker blue backsplash up. I also like the Revere Pewter. Should I start a new discussion to get opinions on paint or would you all mind helping me here?
