Paint Anxiety Living Room

Kristen B

I feel like I post here way too much but I’m so challenged and terrified to commit to a paint color. I always pick one and then see all the other possibilities and chicken out.

I recently got a new couch, it’s a darker taupe color (picture for reference). My end tables are a teal color but you don’t really see them. I am not opposed to changing the rug either.

Now to the paint. As you can see I already have some samples on the wall. The room right now is a blue color. It feels so cold and dull and I would like bright, airy, timeless but warm.

The color samples are all PPG. Top left bone white, top right seriously sand, bottom left almond cream, bottom right brandied pear. Out of all of them I think seriously sand is my favorite but might be too yellow still.

This room has one window on the north wall and later in the day also gets some light from the west kitchen windows. So the room doesn’t get a lot of light especially on dreary days.
