Wood panel wall with high ceiling

can I do wood paneling on this whole wall? It’s in my family room. I was thinking a light driftwood? If not, does anyone have other suggestions to make this wall stand out more

Why does the wall need to stand out more?

Lower the TV so it is ~5" from the top of that tall side board. Move the stuff off of it and put it in a book case beside the TV.

Lower the words behind the sofa so the middle of them is ~64" from the floor.

Just because you have a tall wall/ceiling does not mean you have to fill it up to the ceiling. Your proportions of vision are the same. Your words have gotten lost in the dimensions.

Or you could find a very tall large piece of art to fill in the space behind the sofa if you want to fill it.

I would not see any reason it would not work with your ceiling. If you do the math with standard 36" tall base cabinets, 30" off of the cooking surface that would leave 24" of room to work with. Most inserts are 12" tall so that would leave room to duct out the insert. It sounds like this is a small job and the cabinetmaker did not want to doo the job. I would call around and find someone that would take the job.

Acoustic Panels in Kitchen with High Ceiling- Need opinions!

Our kitchen and living room are an open floor plan with side walls of 12' but a peak in the middle of 21'. In my opinion the room sounds echo-y and I've been looking for a solution (we already have rugs and curtains for some sound absorption). I came across a company called "Acoustical Solutions" and they make sound panels out of photos / art. Do any of you have experience with anything like this? Or other recommendations? These panels are expensive so they'd be an investment. Draperies that start at the tall ceiling and go down to the floor would look beautiful, add interest, warmth, and life to the room. But they cost a lot. NO. Repeat.........NO. WOOD.

A larger console, everything else on the wall? OUT Center the console. Lose the stuff on top pf the console. Lose the ladder. Corner arrangement in vase. goes out too. You need not fill every inch of wall or empty space.

It's just clutter fill . Think bigger and LESS.
