Need to pick roof color...
Comments (2)you've probably done this already, but here's a pic that came up in an image search for grey house tan siding :) and i think it's very pretty. that said, i prefer mixing neutrals/cools/warms... i'm not a layered tan on tan on tan kinda girl. there are also lots of pictures of tan siding with black shutters with lots of different roof colors....See MoreNeed help picking a roof. . . Any thoughts?
Comments (35)What the critics are trying to tell you is that there is a limit to architectural eclecticism and the use of a tall hip roof (French) formal pediments (Roman/Greek) and a segmented arch over a portico (if that’s what it is ) becomes an architectural cartoon. This happens from time to time on the forum and those willing to listen get a lot of free advice and end up with a better house. I’ve been designing buildings too long to care about those who throw a bunch of overused forms together....See MoreNeed help picking a roof color!

Comments (10)BeverlyFLADeziner thank you! I was eyeing grey as our neighbor has a grey roof with similar toned bricks to ours - but again, I know nothing about scheming colors! I hate how dated our home looks and am hoping a change of roofing, siding, and gutters will help. I do love your suggestions - are you thinking your second suggestions works best? I am feeling like that may be best just like you and houssaon suggested, and simply matching the gutters and trim with our soffits so we don't have a ton of colors going on. Also, do you have a company I can leave google/facebook reviews on? I wasn't able to find anything for BeverlyFLADeziner. Would love to post a review for you!...See MoreDesign Girl
