Need help ASAP with grey color choice.
Comments (7)Our dining room is Coventry Gray. I chose it because I wanted light blue. It is definitely very, very blue. So avoid that one. My bedroom and sitting area are Gray Owl. It is very soft, almost "watery" warm gray. Not much saturation, no blue. I have used it elsewhere when I want a neutral, warm light gray. Revere Pewter is tricky when looking at a fan deck or sample card. When you get it up on a wall, though, it almost always just reads "warm gray" with few undertone problems. It is a great default gray--I've NEVER seen it look bad.(I have that one in a stairwell.) It can look very dark in a north room, but it sounds like they have plenty of light....See MoreExterior Color Choice - Help
Comments (3)I think you should go with the Thistle! Red and green are beautiful together and a red brick next to a barely green grey would be pretty. I would definitely keep it light though so it doesn't blend in with the brick. pretty house!...See MoreHelp with Exterior Paint Color Choice
Comments (0)Hi Guys, Im looking for advice on what color to paint my exterior. I have a red roof which is the color I really can't change. I have an aversion to beige/browns, but I really like greys and a more contemporary look. But honestly, Ill do whatever you guys recommend to make it look good. My thought was to stucco over the 80's tile around the garage, create a square trim around the garage door and maybe also on the column. Trim, front door and garage door painted white to match my mailbox? Or maybe the garage door and front door painted a faux wood brown? Maybe add shutters (I wouldnt even know what color). Maybe paint the concrete driveway? The color samples on the house are as follows from right to left: CW:Behr Castle Wall Grey CB: Dont know, will find later GG:Behr Gateway grey HC: Behr Hue and Cry DG: Behr Dawn Grey Gran: Home Decorators Grant Grey SG: Glidden Stone Grey The red at the bottom was just me playing with the idea of making the door red. Comments (5)amazing gray is a greige.. I have it in our master bath and I can't imagine it clashing with bronze/brown colored windows... it also doesn't show green undertones in our bath- if anything, it will look slightly lavender in certain lights, but not nearly as much a revere pewter did. I doubt if you'll have that problem outside... I would make sure that balanced beige wasn't too pinkish before you decided on that... where will the stone be? the entire front? will the stucco only be in the back?...See MoreArchitecturalDetails .
