Thanks for all the suggestions. Where the entrance widens is actually where to kitchen begins (appliances are hidden to the left), I've added a wooden bar table and black chairs that go up against the right wall in the kitchen. The length of the entrance before it widens is actually 10ft now that I'm measuring it with tape. I'm picturing a 6ft runner at the entrance and then a 3x5 area rug in the kitchen (where it widens in the pic). Do you think the runner and area rug should be a set that go together? Any help with that would be great!

I would start with the rug in front of the door first, as I feel it’s an absolute must to have a front door rug.

UPDATE: I still haven’t bought a rug 🤦🏻‍♀️but I did listen to all your advice and mapped out the dimensions of potential rugs and furniture. The first photo shows what a 5’x8’ rug would look like near the doors. The second shows a 4’x6’ rug next to my console table (coming in late May/early June). The remaining two photos show the entire hallway from both ends. I think the 5x8 rug would look good by the doors, but I can’t help but feel that even with the console table, settee, and other decor (I plan on adding a small accent table and tall vase on either sides of the settee), that would still leave a large swath of uncovered floor. I was considering putting a second 5x8 rug, but based on many photos I’ve looked at, you’re not supposed to have the rug go under the console table feet. Hence why I mapped out a 4x6. But that size seems small for that area, even if I put two of them. Should I even go for three 4x6 rugs? Or would it look disjointed? Does anyone have any suggestions? TL;DR- do I use one 5x8’? Do I use two 5x8’ and have the edge of the second go under the console table feet? Do I use two 4x6’? Maybe even three?

I like the idea of a jute rug but I'd look at something that blends in more with the floor so it won't take away from your cool looking wallpaper. Here's one in navy from Amazon although I'm sure there are many places to find similar.
