pale gray-blue wall color with travertine floor?

I had an interior designer come today for a consultation. I asked for a paint color suggestion for our entryway and hallway leading away from it. Entryway has a charcoal and orangeish brown slate floor, and the hallway and most of the main level has beige travertine, some of which seems to have pink undertones and some has orange. The designer suggested SW Rock Candy, which is a very pale gray-blue that is considered a neutral. She said I'd want something to downplay the orange/yellow in the travertine ( I think she said the travertine has yellow undertones, but to me it reads mostly slightly pink, with some of it more orangey), and she thought the Rock chip would be a good choice because I like blue and have been using navy as an accent color in a few areas. Now I like blue, and I like gray, but I'm not at all sure a cool gray-blue paint color will go well with the travertine...but she's the expert, not me.

Here a photo of the entryway and hallway for reference.
