Does Gray Wisp read as a pale blue/green?
Comments (6)Hi, I've used Grey Wisp more than once and it is one of my favourite colours. I don't see blue in that paint colour at all. More green than anything but leaning towards grey. When I chose it, I was looking for a colour that mimicked the colour of silvery coloured moss on rocks at our cottage. I have it in a room that gets a lot of sunlight, southwest facing and it is more grey-green in that room. I also have it in a room that has an east facing window, so it only gets morning sun. It is darker looking in that room, leaning more green. I'm not sure its going to give you the grey colour you are looking for. If you can find some posts with comments from Lori Sawaya (spelling may not be correct, maybe Sayawa??)), she seems to be a wonderful Houzz resource for paint colours. Search around and if you find some of her posts she is almost sure to have made a recommendation on a grey that should work. Comments (13)The color looks like it could be a bit vibrant for the room on their website, but that also depends on what the light (both natural and artificial) is like in the room as well as the finish of the paint. I think either way, though, a matte finish would look best. If the room is bright, this will help tame the brightness of the yellow and if it is a darker room, this will be able to help the artificial lighting be cast more softly around the room....See MoreMountain MT Homes LLC
