Comments (12)Sorry for the personal followup, but I forgot about this post with the "I hope I'll be okay" part thrown in. At this point I know I'll be 100% okay barring medical oddity, but I knew I'd be in for 6-8 months of treatment, minimum, no matter what. I just didn't want to have my last contribution to this thread to have "hope I'll be okay" in it. Kauai will always be in my vacation plans from now on even if I don't take a job there, though. It was a great couple weeks even with the job interviews strewn through-out....See MoreWhere'd everybody go?
Comments (3)Sometimes all the threads are helenh so I have kind of stopped monopolizing things. I do have a new grass from Ozark Nursery. Jet Streams dwarf pampas grass. The tag says hardy to zone 6. I bought one for me and one for my neighbor. I am going to ask the neighbor to check on my animals when I visit my sister. My link shows it. I did not pay $30 like the link price. Mine were reasonably priced. Here is a link that might be useful: Jet Streams grass...See Morewhere is everybody?

Last year I had only one brood of bluebirds here with only 2 surviving chicks and then the bluebirds went elsewhere. At the estimated time that it'd take them to have another brood of chicks, Daddy Blue brought 4 or 5 fledglings to my mealie feeder here so at least I saw them. The bluebirds this year aren't doing anything! They come here to eat when I put out the mealworms but I suspect they are building a nest somewhere else. It's hard to keep my bluebird enthusiasm when they choose not to raise their broods under my watchful eyes. Bluebird blessings, Linda... NW Ga...See MoreFred Biasella
