Hosta garden pictures from GLR Hosta Tailgate 2019 - NCHS
Comments (10)You are all welcome for the pictures. Come back to that website anytime. peren.all LOL You made me laugh at the snake skin. When I saw it in the garden I thought What the Heck ...... The talent and artistic eye some of these gardeners have, makes me in awe. One guy said my thoughts out loud. "These are so beautiful, I want to go home, bulldoze my garden and give up". popmama Thanks so much. It is easy to forget that there are all types of climates and gardens. Green and brown. :) Ken, I don't know, but I'll ask a few people. Beth, thanks. I thought about waiting until January to post, but I got too excited to share. Thanks again for all the comments....See MoreHosta J 2019 ...
Comments (54)Love that joke "how I shop at plant stores" Paula! That's me exactly! I love June. One of my favorites. Love the color of June Fever. I think it is a really nice hosta. This picture was taken at the end of May. But right behind it is a large hosta. So by the end of the summer, half of June Fever is getting covered up. You can see the difference in June Fever's coloration---lighter in front, darker in back. Joy Ride coming along nicely....See MoreHosta Lakesides 2019 .....

Comments (59)I don't know if my Royal Tiara is slug prone. Wasn't last year, and up here on the balcony, I don't see how slugs will get to it. I treated all my hosts with vinegar before I moved, to try and exterminate any slug eggs. But the minute I put it into the ground in my garden last year, it was absolutely ENCHANTING. I don't know why some of them just grab us like that, but they do. Thanks to Chris at Hallson for finding me this great specimen when the webpage officially said "sold out". He dug around and found it for me. Now what are we all gonna do without Hallsons around, and who can we call about problems? :(...See MoreBeth (5b - SE-Michigan)
