This is the vintage walnut bookcase we bought for the den at our PA place. DH and I spied it as soon as we walked into the little shop in town. However most of the books are in another room on rather plain, boring shelves, along with an odd assortment of board games, puzzles and toys.

I finished the "duck" seat covers & console cover. YAY.....but now I want to machine embroidery the GMC logo on them. Haven't used that function or THAT machine in years.....wish me luck....lol

I love bookcases! My barrister's bookcase holds mostly nature's knickknacks that I've collected over the years. The bookcases in my living room hold most of my teapot collection. I have books all over the house and would love to have a library room some day.

Because I was in my late thirties and early forties when I went to college, I have every book from every class. I loved that time in my life so much, it was so much fun. Those books are on shelving that is in a little nook at the top of the stairs of my cape cod house. I do have a Kindle on which I have many books still needing to be read but lately I have been back to buying some hardcover books and it is such a pleasure to sit and hold these in my hands. I had forgotten how good that is. :)

Gino modeling his little winter booties that his mom crocheted. He hates them, and wanted to come inside and visit with me.

Ha, ha, ha!! Gino is rockin' those boots. Do they really stay on in the snow? Or doesn't he deign to go into the snow? :)

They do stay on in the snow murraysmom, she glued velcro on the top. But he digs and shakes his paws and chews and he'll pull the front ones off. She made them because of the salt. It's crazy how much salt people put on sidewalks.

murray's mom, you remind me of my Grandma's cottage. She summered in a little cottage that didn't even have wallboard, just the 2x4s into which Grandpa nailed many, many shelves which she filled with hundreds of knick knacks including some interesting cups, tea pots and more.
