Da plane, da plane!
Comments (44)Thanks, Chicka!! This is his life-long dream, and as much as I joke about it, I'm truly happy for him. :)))) DH took up the plane for his 2nd flight yesterday! He flew for about an hour and 15 minutes. Then he found out from the crop dusting place just north of here that he can park his plane there! So much more convenient, and he has a runway at his disposal - as long as he "keeps out 'the way of the crop dusters," said the owner. LOL He made his 3rd flight when he moved the plane over there from where he landed it down the road earlier in the day. He said he had a rough landing thanks to the warm air conditions, so he'll refrain from making afternoon flights from now on. WHEW! :D He's already talking about going this morning. I'm plugging my ears and "lalala-ing"! LOL I looked over and saw the ol' neighbor guy watching him fly yesterday morning. He flopped his arms in amazement and disgust - at technology as a whole. LOL!! I was able to get 2 fuzzy pics (zoomed all the way in) and a movie before the batteries went dead on the camera. I just have to remember to watch him either with the lens or without....not both. LOL Easier to keep him in view that way. :D Brenda...See MorePeople need a clue to the drought
Comments (28)Russia, U.S.A and china have all admittedly controlled the weather to some degree. They can even lesser hurricanes impact, by affecting the eye of it by a single degree. Do not mock those who claim this because sure I could be wrong but that isnt because I have a tin hat, but because russia america and china apparently lied. As far as chemtrails versus comtrails, anyone over 20 this should be a no brainer, remeber as a kid ALL comtrail dissapated relaively fast, now they can linger for hours. I have a remote acreage in the high mountains above3 a large city... Some days you can watch the planes flying back and forth, leaving these huge chemtrails, grids of them in the sky, that decend onto the cities. All the while regular commuter planes fly by with the same comtrails ALL planes had when I was yonuger. Im not sure if the chemtrails have anything to do with the weather modification programs, but they certainly exist and are definatly NOT normal exhaust from planes. Seriously though they just fly back and forth leaving these grids in the sky. Do all of you know a couple years ago our lovely leaders literally passed a law, which allows them to "test" things on ALL or ANY american, anytime with no warning? Sounds crazy yet it is true. I heard it in passing on mainstream news maybe 3 or 5 years ago. Funny they barely mentioned it in passing, seems like that should be a major concern, just what is it they wanted to test on us? Who knows. Do you know russia and americans BOTh tried to use mind control on ALL of us. Americans never said the outcome of their research, russians said that they can only subtly do it for large populations, so it is not feasible worldwide. Just because our media doesnt readily discuss these things doesnt make it a theory. lol. because this theory is based on them directly saying it. So if I am wrong they simply lied for whatever reason....See MoreDo you remember your first plane ride?
Comments (47)My funniest experience in an aircraft happened while I was stationed in Germany. The Air Force used to use a Kaman HH43 helicopter for an emergency responce crash vehicle. They had a huge 6ft diameter round metal pressure sphere that was loaded with firefighting foam which they carried on a hook under the helicopter. Two firemen were inside the helicopter with the Asbestos firesuites on. When an aircraft crashed they would fly in quickly and set the firebottle down and the firemen would jump out and grab the foam line, then the helicopter would hover over the burning aircraft using the downdraft to blow the flames back while the firemen laid down a path of foam till they could get to the aircraft and pull the crew out. One day my buddy, who was a crewchief on the helicopter called me and said they were going up on a training flight and asked if I would like to ride along, so off I went. As I boarded the helicopter I saw the pilot & co-pilot up front, my buddy, the crew chief, two firemen and another guy who worked at the base chapel that was coming along for the ride. We were all seated in the back while the helicopter just flew around in circles close to the base when suddenly we heard a radio call on our headphones. They had a crippled F4 Phantom coming in with an engine fire, so the pilot told us he had to go back and hook up the firebottle and while they were hooking it up I and the guy from the chapel would have to jump off. The chopper landed and while we were jumping off one of the ground crew hooked the cable on the lifting hook and the chopper took off again, but when it was about 50ft off the ground one of the firemen jumped out, bouncing off the ground from 50ft and broke his leg. I didn't have a clue as to why he just mysteriously jumped out, but later that afternoon while sitting in the NCO club my buddy the crew chief came in and he told me. It seems that while we were flying around the guy from the chapel had got airsick, but not wanting to appear like a whimp to the other guys onboard he didn't ask for a burp bag, instead, he had barfed in the firemens boot and while we were jumping off the firemen was pulling his boots on. By the time he realized that the guy had barfed in his boot he tore off after the guy without even thinking and jumped out....LOL...See MoreWashington again
Comments (6)Thanks, Joe, for the info. I thought all pictures had to be below 100kb to be posted on this site. This one I used Photobucket to resize and upload at 1 mb. It does look sharper, too. A lot of people have dial-up (thank goodness we have DSL now) so you really have to want to look at a picture to take the time for it to open. Now to see if the forum will accept the larger file. Gosh, it's huge....See MoreAnnie Deighnaugh
