would this room look good with a gallery wall?
Comments (10)Yes! It's artsy. Fun. It is a larger mirror, right? Can't tell. Def do this. The texture is perfect. The colors are perfect. It will blend in seamlessly. Do you have an area where you can put a small upholstered chair with a table in the same wood tones? Maybe some vases/wooden pieces somewhere that mimics the mirror? Big fuzzy area carpet? Or neat low berber? Yes use the whole wall for pics - that is sooo the thing right now and I have always loved the look. Did it in a small scale in daughters room above her desk and installed her tv there, too. It looks very nice!!! Good luck. i love wall/sconce lights on either side of the bed above the night stands too. Lamps might be cluncky???...See MoreBoth Sides of Fabric Look Good With Wallpaper.....Opinions?
Comments (13)My cell phone photography stinks, guys. IRL the fabric is not at all peachy pink.... it is a distinct red check (albeit tiny) but that lighter chain stitch is throwing it off. My first go to fabric is always green :-) But we already have a green runner in the room, and the red (not terracotta at all, that is another cellphone misprint) is what we're trying to match with this fabric. I think I may go out shopping again......See MoreWhat color would look good with the fireplace tile, floors, cabinets?
Comments (8)it is a small family room (living space for furniture is about 15x 13), so don't want to add shelves I think... The niche is centered but previous owners have the TV way off. re: covering the hole, my husband and I are on two different pages! I'd like to cover it and my husband doesnt, because he worries about placement of furniture. my question would be, how would you cover the fireplace to suit the style of the house? easier fix, the better....See MoreNeed help decorating walls on both sides of door• UPDATE with after
Comments (3)What I would do is a long console on the bigger wall, around 50 inches, and put one large piece of art over it with a modern lamp and whatever else. On the other side, I’d remove the small console, keep the mirror there, and have plants under it. It would give the entry some life and texture. I don’t know your budget, so these are just examples: Console If you need any storage, you could use a cabinet instead of the above style: Modern plant stand Or Woven plant stands (you could paint the wicker gray, black, or white): BTW: The video was helpful! :)...See Moredollerchauhan
