Comments (9)I would consider the boards and wall they surround as part of the trim and paint to match in a satin or semi gloss trim paint. Consider doing a test on the wall to see how paint will cover. And I agree about redoing the vertical pieces. Comments (6)I would not paint all that brick, which looks great. Have you considered using a charcoal gray for all the siding, including the new portion? It would look great with your roof, and the darker color would minimize the siding. Then paint the door khaki or white....See MoreFull or half wall board and batten?

So we've painted the room aesthetic white (it's night time time just overhead lighting) we will be installing the board and batten on the bed wall and initially was going to go 2/3 up the wall but we realized that it may be too high to hang a small photo above.. 65 inches? So if we go high we won't have anything g above. Our other idea was to go just slightly over half and make a ledge out of the board and batten and put a few photos on it. What do you think? Comments (65)I think that you should fold down the comforter and then place your pillows on the sheets. As for a blanket at the foot of the bed I would go with something other than white. You need a bit of contrast. Maybe for the pillows that go against the board and batten you can go a bit darker than white so it will pop a bit. I do not mean bold colors, but variations and texture.
