I am testing this site as Jas can't post.
In case this works my question is do you buy fresh cut bouquets of flowers for your home?
I tend to want fresh cut flowers in the spring and summer. I don't buy many bouquets but I want them around Easter my birthday and during the summer on special holidays like July 1st here in Canada.
I don't even think of them in the winter months. I have clients who buy bouquets in year round.

Oh to answer your question. I used to buy fresh cut flowers year round but stopped a couple of years ago. I don't know why but I just did.

On the main page it will say start a conversation. ..click it. Than type in your subject which must be 15 or more letters...than type in the body of your message than click next...here you must choose at least one place for your thread to goto. I scrolled down and found kitchen table and clicked it..than I clicked post. ..do not assume that just brcause your at the KT when you start your thread that it will show up here...it won't unless you choose the KT.

I don’t buy cut flowers, but I do buy the potted daffodils, tulips and hyacinths as soon as they show up at the grocery store.

The site has been messed up all day. Hope things get fixed.

No, we don't purchase any cut flowers. We will clip some of our Gardenias in the summer and bring them into the house.

Apparently they got whatever bugs that were messing things up earlier ironed out.......at least for the time being. I also noticed no new threads were being posted and comments to posts were not updating them chronologically. Looks like that has been fixed.

As to yeonassky's question, yes, I always have fresh flowers in the house. It's my one major indulgence and I hate to cut flowers from my own garden - I don't have enough:-) Usually just an inexpensive bunch from the grocery - often alstroemeria, as they are so long lasting and in great colors, or tulips when they are in season. But I sometimes indulge myself and splurge with freesias, sweet peas, lilies or hyacinths. Or seasonal mixed bouquets.

I very often have a flowering plant as well. Orchids from Trader Joe's, a pot of forced bulbs in spring. I don't like poinsettias so right now I have a white flowered cyclamen. Monday, I have to go pick up the roast I ordered and I'll pick up a bunch of cut flowers then to take me through the holiday.

Occasionally, if the mood strikes. I particularly like sunflowers....they make me smile.

I buy fresh flowers every week for myself. I feel happy every time I look at them in my kitchen. Many times they last two weeks. Not a big expense and very available in my travels

I ended up buying a couple of bouquets for my side tables. They make me smile even more than just the tree.

I just bought 6 white orchids in bloom at Home Depot for $5 each! They last longer than fresh cut flowers. There are other colors too. Check out your local Home Depot stores if you want any.
